Policy FAQs
FAQs:
Q: Are you a thrift or consignment store?
A: No, we only sell new dresses purchased through our nationwide supplier network. We do not buy dresses from individuals or accept donations.
Q: Do customers need to make an appointment?
A: We do not currently require appointments; however, we do not allow any children under 12 in the store, including children in strollers and carriers. We encourage customers to plan ahead with childcare arrangements before making the drive to our location.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Three Rivers Crossing (formerly Three Rivers Mall) in Kelso, WA. Exit 39 off I-5. Our address is 351 Three Rivers Dr, Kelso WA 98626. Park on the Safeway side of the mall.
Q: Do you take returns or exchanges?
A: No, all sales are final.
Q: Can you order dresses/suits in different sizes or colors?
A: No, we do not order individual/small amounts of dresses. We are able to offer low prices by buying in bulk from wholesalers and other suppliers. All our dresses and suits are off-the-rack.
Q: Do you offer alterations?
A: We do not have alterations in-store; however, if you are local to the Kelso/Longview area, we are partnered with a seamstress we can refer you to: Chrissy Lynn Hadaller, owner of Stitch and Sound, 906 Vandercook Way, Longview WA 98632. www.stitchandsound.com
Q: Will I be able to try on the dresses/suits?
A: Yes, our store has fitting rooms.
Q: Why do you not allow any children in store, including children in strollers or carriers?
A: For our first few months of operation, we experienced several child-related incidents every single day for which parents did not take any responsibility or take any action to prevent or remediate. Specifically, in addition to many damaged gowns and multiple safety close-calls which required swift staff intervention to avert injury, we had numerous privacy incidents involving children in the fitting room area, which we cannot tolerate. Because of the volume and nature of incidents involving children under the age of 12, we regret that we can no longer allow them in the store without exception.
